A Home Away From Home...

When I was younger, I really wanted to be an exchange student. I thought it would be so cool to go to another country, live with a different family, learn a new language. Never happened. But, that never stifled my interest in the entire concept of exchange students, and living abroad. You can imagine my excitement when the opportunity opened up for us to work with GP Homestay, an organization that places exchange students with host families around the Northern California area.

We developed a video / photo montage for the organization based around their annual year end celebration. What an exciting event! Polynesian dancers, a live band, terrific BBQ, tons of games, catered ice-cream from Coldstone Creamery, plus a beautiful day out at the Alameda Beach. Great organization, the people who work there really care about these students and ensuring that they not only have a great experience, but that they feel completely welcome. If you've ever considered being a host family for an exchange student it's a terrific opportunity -- check out GP Homestay!
